CRC Little Coders 2.0
For Mays Chapel Students Only!
The CRC Little Coders Club is designed to expose young students to the power of coding. Students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade will meet weekly before school for 6 weeks to learn the design process and introductory coding skills. Students will utilize tools and resources like Code.org, BeeBots, and Ozobots to extend learning and apply new skills.
This year we are offering 3 differentiated sessions of Little Coders in order to best meet student needs. Please read carefully to ensure that you sign your child up for the correct session, as some programs have prerequisites and grade limitations. If you sign up incorrectly, you will be removed and waitlisted for the appropriate session.
Students should arrive on time and enter through the front doors. Students may not be dropped off prior to 8:00 am or left at school unsupervised. Parents must be able to be able to provide transportation for their child.
This year Little Coders will be run through the Cockeysville Rec Council. The cost to participate will be $40. Interested participants must register online via http://cockeysvillereccouncil.org. Registration will open at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018. Registration will be on a first come first serve basis. In the event of inclement weather missed dates will be cancelled.
